Milestone Training Center
MTC provides Developmental Training ranging from self care and social skills to educational and vocational skills to Adults with both physical and developmental disabilities.
The goal is to teach the individual the skills necessary to achieve community inclusion while enhancing self esteem.
Volunteering in the community is an important part of the program. MTC individuals have helped Easter Seals, The Rockford Park District, the Salvation Army, the Venetian Club and many other organizations.
Milestone Community Center
The Milestone Community Center provides an alternative day time option for individuals who are "retired or semi-retired" but value social interaction, community centered recreation and new experiences. With the input of community center attendees, activities focus on local and regional opportunities such as parks, museums, libraries, cultural events and venues, and exploration of other countries and customs through books, videos and food.
